Koikoi7_01 raw: take all the most corny high-school shounen cliches, mix them and serve them at mad speed and in no special order. The chara designs are too close to the manga - they copied the errors too (the eyes are drawn too close, for one thing.)
Kamichu ep 01 raw:
Girls coming of age doing miko things, calling out spirits and stuff. Main girl is small and meek and whiny and shy but potentially powerful. Fluid animation.
So far I don't understand a single thing that's happened in Kamichu. Nice animation, though.

Very good audio direction, it's coming from the same person who did Emma - really get a scale of the damage and whatever, very detailed. Great music also. I look forward to seeing more!
