You have seen Dragon Ball 30 times? Wow.

A semi-rough estimate gives 34070 min = 567.84 h = 23.66 days = ~24 days for me.

I'm sure someone in here has a much more impressive total.

3384 min = 2.35 days... conservatively, probably 3 days.

On the other hand, I probably have read a full day's worth of doujinshi.

No idea. ^^; I would say at least 20 days.

Since I've seen a lot of the Toonami 40+ episode series, such as DB, DBZ, Gundam, G Gundam, Gundam Seed, Gundam Wing, FMA, YYH, Inu-yasha, just to name some of the first series I've seen.

Haven't really watched much in the last year though.

I actually did one of those list things at ANN, and just updated it after about two years (but yeah, wasn't really much to update.)

I have about 100 DVDs in my collection, but when I say 100 DVDs, I mean 100 DVDs full of DIVX, so around 500 minutes per disk (based on 24, 22-minute episodes... a very crude calculation) for 50000 minutes total.

That's about 34 days of anime, but not counting duplicates, a few series I actually own on MPEG-2 DVD and other factors which introduce errors.

I don't consider myself a super-otaku either, as much of my collection was swiped from people with four times more. I'm probably different from them in that I know I've watched everything in it, whereas they had some stuff so crap that they probably didn't. :-)

But I do watch anything that someone I trust says is good, that I haven't seen already. It's a compulsion, you know... to stay ahead of the rest.

Just divide # of eps by 60. I get about 13 days.

About 1 day, maybe.

14 Name: Azumatrix!aZu.351QQQ 2005-09-26 13:43 ID:D7VkSlzW

I have about 2.2TB of fansubs in my collection, I've watched about 20 percent, so about 1 month. If I watched everything it would take me 7/8 months.

That's gonna difficult to calculate. I've probably seen well over a years worth (365+ days). Not all at time! I spread it out over about 10 years or so. It's an average of 2.4 hours a day.

Not too long ago I felt like "Hey, I'd like to watch Gunslinger Girl." So I did. The whole series. In one sitting. The next day I watched Rozen Maiden. Also, Back when it was still being dubbed, I watched a 7.5 hour Sailor Moon marathon.

i've clocked up roughly 500 ep's 20 double eps 10 movies

which comes to 200 odd days, add in my reruns and it's 300

i've known anime for only three years, but one of them i was in uni, needless to say, i failed and never went back, year after that, the state paid me to sit around and watch anime for another 5 months straight. i started moderating myself after that and became serious about working.

an average of 8 hours a day is insane now that i look back, but it was a good 12 hours a day for the first 16 months

Well, on weekends, I can watch about 6 hours strait per day....
Forget how long I've been doing it though.

25 Name: Random Anime Otaku : 2006-06-20 20:17 ID:eOjYYkf/

Ah I don't know, but I have watched about terabyte of anime in avi format in the last twelve months this excludes dvds. Give a rough estimate giving an average of 200mb per episode and 20 minutes ( 'cause i skip the starting and ending sequences after I've seen them once or twice)I'll also round off all 1024's to 1000 => roughly 70 days in a year ok I think I'm gonna be sick. But I have an excuse I own an internet cafe so all I do all day is watch anime and because I work 7 days a week I don't go out much anymore so I watch it at home too, but seriously I do need help
