Has anything ever happened in America with the license of this?
I remember trying to keep up with it before it was licensed, post-licensing, through delays and delays.
I haven't paid attention for a few years so am now out of the loop.
It seems to not be released, but does anyone know if there is even any talk about it anymore?

Weird, I thought the movie was rather famous..
It is a strange animated movie made by the collaboration of Yoshitaka Amano (art) and Mamoru Oshii (direction).

It is very strange and surrealistic, but so very beautiful.
As a very small amount of lines are actually spoken, perhaps seven or so, it is easily watched even without translation.
I think the experience of the imagery is much more important in its case.

Sorry for just starting a thread with the question.
With the nature of the topic, I usually think that an invitation for discussion is implied.
