I'm guessing only around the thousands.
If you include all the crap that amateurs post on boards like 4chan, I'd say it's in the low millions (currently hosted on the internet). But that's just a guess.

No, I don't keep the crap. However there are many huge PNG scans that can go for up to 20MB for some pictures. Good collections this big are not really unusual, with torrents and share.
