Seriously, people are stupid. And all they do is keep you from watching more anime or doing other interesting stuff on the internet. You can't even talk to them about anything anime-related.

I think Otaku and hikikomori is the same, they to busy with their own world. Just like i did right now.

Please read that. I'm not going to say that I fully grasp what an otaku is. For as long as I've been aware of the term, I've used it to identify someone blatantly obsessed with anime, with no bias to quality of the work. I can say that they are exceptionally different from the hikikomori. These, hikikimori, describe a far more severe level of solitude than someone with an internet connection and loads of free time. Perhaps even too severe for an individual to identify oneself as a hikikomori.

As both an American Hikikomori as well as a 1/2 Otaku (I do care about the quality of the work, and the wrong voice actors can kill it for me {Tears to Tiara in eng ****s}), I also wish to meet other Hikikos as well as other Otaku. This has been rather diffcult, considering we are viewed as trash by 90% of humanity. We are the 10% that change the world however, we always have been, we are the weird, the strange, the crazy, the super-scientist, the mad scientist (yes there is a difference, compare Tesla to Mengela and you'll know what I mean), the Otaku, etc... WE see rainbows and both ponder the light spectrum, as well as secretly wish we could catch that slippery Leprechan and get that gold!
