who else cried during Lucky Star 22?
I'm not a sappy person but I feel really attached to these girls.
Episode 17 where Kagami had a fight with her sisters was very moving as well.

If this was the one with Kanata, then I came close. I actually thought that was the last episode while watching it, but I forgot that it went to 24.

I actually felt more emotional watching the last episode of Witchblade. And by emotional, I mean I went to go lift weights for about an hour (6_6). I'll admit, I only watched this particular episode once, but I didn't feel one way or the other about it. I wasn't convinced or moved by that whole bit with Kanata, and yeah.. wasn't good.

Episode 17 with that whole scene about the Hiiragi sisters and their arguing, it's probably my favorite scene out of all of Lucky Star. Not because it was particularly emotional, or sentimentally moving, but seeing Kagami and her older sister squabble is possibly the most realistically portrayed family dynamic I've ever seen in anime, or possibly all of animation. It's a shame the Hiiragi family isn't seen more often, since they seem to have the potential to be far more compelling as a unit than any other character introduced in the later half of the series.

As SoL comedies go, I'd say I was more "attached" to the characters in Azumanga Daiou, although the LS characters were very appealing, it was more of a detached, aesthetic appeal, since so much of it was self-conscious and referential in a tongue-in-cheek otaku sort of way. The fact that Tsukasa is a moe-blob or Kagami a twin-tailed tsundere, Konata's a little more original, but she still possesses recognizeable character traits from many other series that need an attractive girl who is simultaneously an otaku who can easily be related to, or associated with males.
I wouldn't get attached to them for the same reason I wasn't really attached to the Haruhi chars, since KyoAni designed them to be recognizeable moe characters as part of the humor or the show's charm.
