Let me give you one of the best Shonen-ai anime's I've seen in a awhile; though, I'll admit now the manga is much better.

Kyou Kara Maou is really good! Its about a boy named Yuuri who is transported to a different world Kagome-style (except instead of falling through a well, he gets flushed down a toilet). I've only watched about two episodes but Yuuri discovers that he's actually the Maou (demon king) of this world. He also accidentally gets engaged to Wolfram, a blond bishonen <3

Love is a Hurricane is a good funny yaoi. Butif you want shounen ai which has more story, try Pet on Duty. Both of them are cute but the yaoi is very graphic, while Pet on Duty has one two page scene.

Junjou romantica would be good. It's technically a yaoi, but the anime doesn't have any scenes that are particularly graphic. The manga on the other hand.. keep away from it if you don't like explicit scenes.
Junjou romantica contains three different main couples.. my favourite being junjou egoist!! Hiroki is awesome.

Double standards are an awful thing to have these days. It is fine when people know they don't like one as much as the other, but not once they act the one they only like is so much better, since they both amount to the same thing. There is no reason to be an elitist with either. I like yuri more than yaoi, somehow they tend to have stronger plot and more emphasis on the characters. But I don't say yaoi is crap or that people who watch it are ignorant fangirls who don't care about the plot, so much as seeing the couple screw each other. I have even liked yaoi like Loveless for having a plot that makes you care about the cast, even if you don't like the age with the main couple. Even Enzai kept my attention despite all the rape scenes you have to sit through. Both yaoi and yuri can have series with enough merit, some that makes it moot whether you wanted guys or girls fanservice when they challenge the stereotypes. Yuri have crap too, so it is not like I expect what I sided on to be perfect
JUNJOU ROMANTICA, im not a sensitive person at all, and yet i found myself crying spontaneously throughout the show. the show has two seasons and a total of about 25 episodes. I get the feeling this is exactly what your all looking for.

07-Ghost is a great anime (my favorite anime/manga) & totally slashable. It's not listed as shounen ai but the hints are DEFINATELY there and it's so obvious.
I also recommend Junjou Romantica.
Also, if you run out of animes to watch, you can always search up a bunch of shounen ai/yaoi mangas to read. There are SO MANY good ones out there (and a couple of terrible ones here and there) and are as entertaining as animes. ^-^

Those are all very good shonen-ai with guys in it (just to make sure). All of those are very sweet and barely have any sexual content - they focus on the emotional part and the love, as it should be in shonen-ai. Therefore, I highly suggest those even to straight people. It's sweet ^^

The manga for Monochrome Factor has no love story though, only the anime.
Togainu no chi is a good one to watch, the anime series is just starting to air now. kuroshitsuji and monoshitsuji are good ones to watch- but if your a mega-fangirl you might just die you get so excited. ;P
Monochrome factor was totally cute, junjou romantica is one that'll make you cry for hours, loveless is a bit sketchy- but good... uraboku was borderline...

This is more yaoi with a tragic tale wonderful story but to continue the story you need to read the manga which switched it's name to Bronze when it was picked back up.

Kyou kara Maou sort of has heavy shounen-ai overtones, but as they're largely played for laughs I'm not sure if it counts. Gravitation is my personal favourite, but the manga is even better. You can totally see how the artist is just making shit up as she goes along starting around volume 6. What's more, she even drew those adult "Gravitation REMIX" doujinshi herself! Hot stuff.

My favorite shounen-ai so far is No.6, its so friggin sweet and cute... Plus the story is great if your into like, kinda scifi but still its in our world, to be more precise its the year 2013. Its still ongoing, 10 episodes so far, the next one should be released in like 2-3 days i suppose, if they release one every week. Haven't reed the manga, cause I found the anime just yesterday (watched 10 episodes in a row cause its so god damn good, even though I had school the day after xD) but I'm about too read it now... just gotta finish writing this first... :)

I love Loveless, Jounjou Romantica, and Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi :D Loveless is the best in terms of plot, and Jounjou and Sekai-Ichi are mostly just guys who write manga kissing and stuff :3 But they're still all very addicting <3
Yes, Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi is one amazing shounen ai, and new episodes are still being made. Season 2 just ended, I think, and I don't know when it'll start up again, but I repeat, Sekai-ichi is by far my favorite shounen ai so far, and I highly recommend it.

OMG there are so many shounen ai to watch i don't know where to start but still there are more shounen ai manga then animes 'its to bat cuz sometimes there manges that you wish that they will be animes too...
i think animes are better than mangas but it's totally wrong cuz mangas has so much than the animes-in the animes there are sense that are cuttet so its too bad ...
I've seen every yaoi and shounen-ai anime out there, but the one I'll strongly suggest is Mirage of Blaze. The story doesn't evolve around homosexuality like most animes out there, the story is actually very very good and the feeling around it is sooo damn sad. No sex at all though, but the tension makes it even better, because you won't even know until the middle of the series that there was shounen-ai potential. It's not a cute and funny anime, it's serious, so if you're looking for a great story and seriousness, I recommend that one ;p
No. 6 is a good one with a good plotline
