To make it, I used the technique most ASCII artists from my board use, tracing. You take an image, and then "draw" over it with the text. I don't know if that's what you mean by "by scratch" or not.

And I tried to use Japanese characters, but as you can see, I didn't use too many, since I don't know the language lol.
