Wow, this is incredibly frustrating. I just can't get AA art to line up properly when viewing it in Firefox.

I've followed all the goddamn instructions everywhere. Mona font is installed. When I copy + paste AA art from firefox into notepad it lines up perfectly. It's just in the browser. All the firefox font settings are correct. In fact, I've set EVERY GODDAMN FONT SETTING ON THE OPTIONS PAGE to Mona. Still get non-lined up AA.

This is soo frustrating as I love AA and want to make some AA myself ;_;

Ok, well, apparently it wasn't working because I was using 'Blue Moon' stylesheet. WTF over.

In general, Mona is very good at portraying SJIS art. I edit all my AA with Mona and it ends up looking well in Mincho and Gothic. There are a only a small number of glyphs that aren't represented well in Mona.

This is a simplification that can be construed as an inflammatory statement. Yes, Mona font has some problems with correctly portraying some pieces of AA, but that only affects a very small number of AA found in 2ch's AA boards.

So what if isn't perfect. Mona will correctly portray 99% of all AA found in 2ch's AA boards. In the 20 months that I've been editing SJIS art, I've been using Mona extensively. I regularly compare my edits in Mona, MS Gothic and MS Mincho and they all portray the same look I wish to convey. Mona is a suitable Gothic and Mincho replacement.
