Quite honestly, I'm a spoiled kid of of the 21st century, and would probably go crazy without my modern conveniences. But if I had to choose, I would be curious to live in ancient Minoan civilization. Not too much is known about them, since Crete was completely destroyed by a volcano, but they did seem to be pretty advanced. They even had flush toilets.
