Problem with the emergency mittens (2)

I was having a lack-of-mittens related emergency, so I pressed the Release Emergency Mittens button. That wasn't sufficient, so I pressed it again. But instead of releasing more mittens, that just made the already present ones stop moving! How am I supposed to mitten mittens if the mittens I am trying to mitten are immovable? I pressed the button a third time in hopes that it would rectify the problem. The mittens remained in place! Fix this problem immediately or I will consult another mittening service for my emergency mittens needs.
