Bruh you can change default settings like username and password and host binding. You just seem to be parroting what people who know nothing about it say. Yes, itfs not secure by default. But you know what else is like that? Cisco IOS. You actually have to configure it. But guess what? People still use Cisco routers and switches and they donft always get hacked. You know why? They get configured by people who know what theyfre doing.
You can also use Platform as a Service so someone else is in charge of securing your shit. See Heroku. But that would only be if you wanted an online data base, not something local.
Lastly, a fucking local database \ not allowing remote connections at all \ does not need to be secure. You can make it not allow for any remote connections.
