Along the road, there was a half-mile-or-so deserted stretch. About half of the streetlights went dead as I walked under them (give or take a few feet). For one group, it was four in a row.
When I looked back, many of them had come back on. It would have been much cooler if they'd stayed dead. I hear that, back in the 90s, street lamps would cycle like that as they were dying.
