I'm a guy and I'm trying to grow my hair long.
So far, it's now reached my shoulders, but I don't like how it's curling up there since I have straight, black, typical asian hair.
What should I do to fix this problem?
perm it or cut it.
hair does not flow straight naturally. (even girls who do brush it like a day job every night)
Get it cut into a very layered hair style- it'll reduce the curling. Also, ironing is always an option. Even if you don't necessarily want to invest in a straight iron, you can always use a clothing iron if you intend to just straighten out the end; although it's much easier to burn your hair that way.
I'm a guy with long hair. I brush it every morning like a girlie, but almost always have it tied up in the back, so I'm usually not too careful of what it looks like.
Unless it's styled like a messy, jap rockish way, Asian guys do not look good with hair down to their shoulders. Every asian male pony tail I have seen are greasy and such a turn off.
Scrap that, pony tails are a turn off on every male.
