Awesome games, I just picked up the 2nd one and I'm loving it. The dialog sequences with the king are too hilarious!
It's interesting they added some little twists on the gameplay, like removing the time limits on some stages. It's not much, but keeps things fresh. This is the kind of game that is simply fun to play (and watch!). It's the kind of game you will remember fondly in a few years, and think "wow, that was so crazy cool".

I thoroughly enjoyed the flashback scenes that depict the King's journey throughout childhood. The music is often quite sad/dramatic and the contrast in subject matter makes is highly amusing.
I'm really looking forward to the PSP release Boku no Watashi no Katamari (was it?). My My Katamari in English. The graphics look crisp and the gameplay vids so far have been smooth. PSP is in quite a dilemma as there have been few to no good games released, and I think this could put it on the map for casual and serious gamers alike.
The best thing about Katamari is it's absurdness. Due to this simple fact, the developers will be able to continue creating new games based around the Cosmos -- they can simply create BS and it will work!
I'm waiting for the European release of We ♥ Katamari. Arses.
What about the first Katamari game? Was that ever supposed to be released in Europe?
Katamari 2 was a lot of fun! Yeah the king's flashbacks were great. But the music was better in the first I think, but still all the weird levels like underwater and racing were awesome.
(hint! In the training level, get very large and then zoom out!)

We heart Katamari kicks so much buttage. But how in the hell do you find the secret character in the training level, i've zoomed out and i've rolled everywhere(Apparrenttly not)

There's a minigame in Boku no Watashi which is a 2D scroller. Not the whole game.
I have never played Katamari. I only have PSP and watched few movies from the game. Is it hard to understand the options and plot for someone who have no clue about japanese? In other words, is it worth to get this game from yesasia?

You know... I recently watched some of the movies in We ♥ Katamari. Specifically the one in which the Queen gives birth to the Prince. Just now, it occurred to me about the shape of the Prince's head. Fucking OUCH

GOD this game is awesome the best game ever made by people that were high! All jokes aside its a rather intertaining game yet the cutscenes scare me...
Sucks that the DS version got cancelled... I was really looking forward to that.

it was never seriously in development. The DS probably just couldn't handle the game - apparently even the PSP version was really pushing the hardware.

This game was cool and inovative.
It has a very low replay value though, i got really bored at about 20hours of play. I don't think my PS2 will see the disc anytime soon...

this is a great game. It's simple, has a storyline, great japanese songs, cutscenes are well done. And rolling a katamari is the most fun the prince can have
