so i was on a webstore and about to order the game when i saw something strange

Well you know, the French have to be given a slightly easier game otherwise they surrender before it's even started.
the Germans would probably cheat its way through the game
FF games are too hard. Sometimes the monsters have more HP than you.

hell, the final boss in FF6 had about 1 million hp (in total). heck, you should see FFXII - the toughest baddie in the game takes days to kill. they LET YOU LEAVE AND COME BACK because there's no way you could do it on your own in one battle. over 50 million hp.

Congrats for getting the joke. FF is well known for making a decent system with no attempt at balancing the stats of the player and the enemies, more so than other JRPGs. The opponenents have tons of HP but a shity defense and offensive abilities that suck compared to yours.
AH HA HA!!! oh, now i get it. ah, that's good...
But it makes you feel good when you beet a uber infinite hp enemy with like less than 1% of their starting health, almost die at each attack, spend 50 turns healing, doing like 1 damage a turn, then beat them!
FFXII universe SUUUCKS. And the game too.

you don't play FF12. you watch. almost all hunts and boss fights i watched the gambits fight for me.
