[Offline] 4-ch [convetion/meeting] (21)

Has there ever been a 4-ch offline meeting? Maybe specific to a certain board (DQN)? Are the users of 4-ch so spread out that this isn't really possible?

I live in the midwestern US, but I would be willing to go pretty far for a 4-ch offline meet. On a side note, how do I identify myself as a 4-channeler (or a member of the Elitist Superstructure for that matter)? It'd sure be nice to hang around you people in the real world.

4-ch isn't specific to one small, densely packed country like 2ch is. Meeting up would be near impossible.

Not to mention that we have very few posters.

The best we could hope for is to blend in with 4chan meet ups.

Sydney, Australia....I've only seen a few other people close by but I don't think I'd be willing to travel far to meet them. Hell, I hate going to the store to get milk, bread, etc...

>Grandpa shirt

and where might one acquire one of these shirts?

I have a Grandpa shirt. :3 They were a special deal where Squeeks got to print some shirts as a part of some university class he was taking, he made like a dozen or so and offered them to the first people willing to pay for shipping. It's a little piece of Internet history, and aside from a slightly odd collar (lol Australian shirts?) it is quite comfy and good for sleeping in.

As for the topic, I'm from central Arkansas, and I actually did briefly meet a fellow 4ch-er at a small Sci-Fi con in Memphis a few years ago... he noted the Grandpa shirt and my con badge with 'Anonymous 4-ch'er' on it. Didn't really get to talk to him though. Wonder if he's still around here?

For what it's worth, I'll be at ACen this year. Anyone else?
