I forgot to mention that when I say "sleep with" I meant it to mean "sleep in the same bed as a person without any sexual contact" So basically I have the same idea as you.
Two people can have sex without any romantic interest in each other. Sure. But if a guy says he wants to sleep in the same bed as a girl, he's just trying to get in pants. There's no need for you to sleep in the same bed as a person who is just a friend.
