Wow, thanks for answering, you people. I'm new to this and my first response wasn't very nice it kinda scared me off.

I guess in a way my question could be reworded to say "is there such a thing as platonic love between a male and a female", since I've heard discussions and debates about it so many times I don't know what to think and worried that my mind has become confused by all the arguments.
