Let's get organized, 4-ch!! (12)

As much as I hate to bring up 4chan, a lot of people there have made the observation that "anonymous" is, when provoked, a strong enough force to actually get things done. Mostly these comments are just ridiculous delusions of graudeur on the part of /b/ users, but there is some truth to them: 4chan has, en masse, done some pretty crazy things, though none of them were all that productive or well-conceived.

Basically, if 4chan can organize protests all over the world over something ridiculous like Scientology, why can't we do something similar? Except the difference here being, we actually do something productive.

Yes, the 4-ch userbase is a lot smaller. But all that means is, we have to rely on actual skills and a little bit of hard work instead of just strength in numbers to accomplish whatever we set out to. But, most of 4-ch's userbase, I'd estimate, are college-age, and I'm sure lots of 4-ch users have a lot of stuff to offer. So...

What's your level of education?
What skills do you have?
What would you like to see done in the world?

Now, I don't necessarily mean we should all go out and campaign for a political candidate or protest something ridiculous, because those are pretty divisive and generally they don't really go anywhere (see: 4chan scientology protests). Besides, most 4-ch users probably aren't interested in stuff like that. But we DO have a lot of other shared interests, and as a group, we could accomplish something. It could be something small like a few translation projects or an album (DQN Electronics Volume 9 is proof that 4-ch users can come together and do something cool) or a doujin game or something. I'm sure somebody can come up with a better idea than me, especially when it becomes clearer what kind of skills 4-ch users have and how much work they're willing to do.

Honestly, I don't really expect this to go anywhere but I figured I'd throw it out on the off-chance that we're able to accomplish something really cool in the future.
