does this make sence to you? (8)

okay. my girlfriend is a normal girl. not a freak(ppl born to be completely and otherworldly hot). she like many women completely hates her body to the extent that on a bad day i am not so much as am aloud to look at her.
Here's the kicker. she is not one of those people who are incapable of reforming her body to the kind that she would more prefer. she is more than capable, but for some reason when she complains about herself and i give her the logical answer:

"the only way to get what you want is to put the effort to getting it"

it's like i have not only called her ugly, but i have continued to say she is fat and spit in her face.

so, my question is this: why do women (not saying all women just some) take what is said logically and turn it into something that was not said or intended? because she seriously thinks i'm calling her fat with that above sentence.

ne one else with this problem?

Even more logical would be to admit that you call her fat if she's fat.

What she wants is for you to tell her she's beautiful (even though you both know she clearly does not live up to any conventional standard).
Women are not logic-driven creatures. Many are stupid in the sense that they have to go about communication in a round-about and emotionally unrestrained way. And I suppose they expect men communicate in the same fashion.

>>3 but she is beautiful! she just has a hard time hearing it when i say it! i have given so many compliments and she just shrugs them off and immediately says the opposite of what i say.

there's nothing you can do, my friend.
i'm a girl and i understand what your girlfriend is thinking. she won't be happy with anything you say.
so just accept it and keep telling her she's beautiful.

Don't tell her to this:

>"the only way to get what you want is to put the effort to getting it"

It sounds like you are agreeing with whatever ridiculous things she says about the way she looks. Even though it is logically correct by itself it carries the implications of what was said before it.

Instead just tell her you don't agree with it and move on. Don't compliment her after she says anything negative about herself, because she'll just learn to say those things in order to get validation from you, though not necessarily consciously.

Don't try to understand a woman, because you never will.

If you enjoy her company, great. If you don't, find someone else. Don't let her drive you crazy with her drama. There are other girls.

You should be clear about never ever going to be able to understand a woman. But you should try. Some of them appreciate the effort even if they don't show it too often.
