Sometimes. Although after I handed it over to its new manager, I really haven't posted except when I get the occasional email from Google telling me they blocked something from search results.

For a variety of reasons, this form of communication will never really gain traction. Since late 2004 when I first started this website (before 5ch a thing) the way we communicate online has changed so dramatically. Even 2channel, the website this place was inspired upon has changed significantly. Social media has influenced a lot in how we communicate and disseminate information. Forums in their western kinds have slowly drifted away in popularity as a whole. Real time messaging networks first on PC (ICQ, AIM, MSN) have disappeared, replaced with phone variants (WhatsApp, LINE, Kakaotalk). With regards to larger group chat IRC has been overtaken by Slack, Discord, Gitter. That's not to say the old guard is completely dead - but rather the focus, the majority is now elsewhere for better or for worse. The amount of time between moving platforms has also gotten shorter, as I get older it feels new services come around and gain a huge base of users even faster than ever.

In the end, the survival of a given means of communication or a community will largely in my view be determined by the value of the information, entertainment, or enlightenment it can discover, and be discovered. If there is any advice I could give anyone posting on this website now and into the future is to treat it like an immutable transmission into space - anyone could hear it, and it survive longer than you will.
