Question about torrents (12)

Ok so I asked this on 4chan but I'm posting it here because I want to hear what you guys have to say.

I'm downloading a torrent that is 3.22 gb right now, it's Silent Hill 3 for pc.

If I'm downloading a torrent, lets say any size or the size of the torrent I'm download does that mean I can't be downloading a torrent at the same time?

Also the guy said if it's that big, like the one I'm downloading that it's a virus.

Any help thanks.

3.22 GB !!!! stop downloading that file right away its a virus!!!
any torrent above 350mb is a virus for sure. stop using bittorrent and use direct download sites only but be sure to stay away from sites like rapidshare or megaupload. every time you download from these sites they send a spyware and bots that monitor the size of your hard drive and all the .avi .mpg and .mp3 files on your computer.
i hope this helps wouldnt want a fellow 4-ch user to be attacked by viruses and such.

Too late. It was a 3.22 GB virus. I guess it was written in .net or something.

I guess just because something is accessible that doesn't make it right.

HOLY CRAP!!! .mdf are the most dangerous files on the internet!!!
delete all .mdf files and then delete from your recycling bin.
make sure to download at least 3 anti-virus programs. MAKE SURE
its the ones that you have to pay a subscription for like Norton,
McAfee, Norman, Kaspersky, F-Secure etc. I recommend F-Secure as
its the best. Its the most expensive but it is the best.
Also try to avoid surfing image heavy sites as .jpg files can
contain hidden virus. i would delete all your .jpg files above
350kb. anything higher than that is most likely a virus.
if you need any more advise, please ask i enjoy helping people
who are smart enough to ask rather than searching for answers.

Hey thanks a lot for the help!

As for the images, I go to imageboards a lot, but I don't go to ones like 4chan or 420chan.

.mdf is the virus that turns people into zombies. you've been infected. I suggest you burn everything and kill yourself to save yourself from a slow painful death and the chance you may infect those you love and hold dear to your heart!

.mdf = Most Dangerous File. You heard it here first ;)

For reals: No, if t's prolly not a virus and, if you have the bandwith, you can download as many torrents as you want at the same time.

Just ask yourself: WWWAD? What Would Weird Al Do?

From "Virus Alert"

Turn of your computer and make sure it powers down
drop it in a 43-foot hole in the ground
bury it completely, rocks and boulders should be fine
then burn any clothes you may have work anytime you were online

Weird Al is your savior.
