There are a lot of negative connotations associated with the word 'pedophile'. When people think of the word 'pedophile', they think of a creepy middle-aged man who assaults children sexually, while in reality it defines someone who has a preference to people who are in the age range of 9 to 13.

There have been so many cases of pedophiles sexually abusing children, that people overlook the pedophiles who wouldn't hurt a fly and love children in a way that surpasses sexual urges.

When I was 12 I was attracted to 12 year olds, and I still am today. Why should my preferences adapt to older women as I grow older myself?
