Parece que há poucos que falam português aqui. É uma língua agradável, porém mais agradável de se falar e ouvir (desde que falada CERTO) do que escrever, acho.

Portuguese is gorgeous! It's probably the most beautiful-sounding language on earth, It has the smoothness of French with the liveliness of Spanish. Of course, I learned Spanish instead, so I'm hopelessly confused in matters of Portuguese.

Since i am portuguese and not brazillian i have the luck of knowing the original portuguese and not gibberish portuguese.

Hello I am Hungarian and I think Portuguese sounds very nice.

Umm European Portuguese is pretty much a dead language, but Brazilian culture is still developing new memes. Think about it, all the new things in Europeu are from American English or Spanish maybe... but Brasileiro has developed a whole subculture or two of their own with their own slang and cute expressions and idioms.

Globalisation will ruin it all, though.

Also to the person who compares American English to British, well English was brought to America by the Brits, and was better preserved there. British is full of French clichés both in spelling, pronunciation and also vocabulary. American is more "purely" English. Though it's true that the cultural livelyness I mentioned above can be found in British to a higher degree; which I find inexplicable!
