Fine, you can be inspired to build up your confidence and find the love of your life or whatever by Densha Otoko, but you should not expect what happened in the show to happen to you. Opportunities to meet members of your preferred gender abound, but do not expect for one to just fall into your arms like that, especially if you're as dorky and unattractive as Densha and the other person is as pretty and rich as Hermes. So I guess it's okay to be "inspired" by it, but spending the rest of your life waiting for something like that to happen to you is folly.
