Ok, it seems I haven't been in this board long enough. When will you people learn that you don't "relate" to girls? The average guy cannot do that. (And the average girl does not want you to.) You "get" the girl; the girl wants you to get her. With girls, you try to make lovers, not friends. Make friends if you only want her as a friend.

Your problem is that you didn't pursued her. You just waited to see if she was available, and that doesn't appeal to girls. Waiting for a few weeks tells me you're not interested enough or you are excessively shy. Dammit, she's down the hall! My dorm was all men. Take her out and make her have a good time. At this age she'll have sex if she feels comfortable enough without you needing to ask her.
