OP here. So, today, I called him and he says "I don't think this isn't going to work out". I told him I thought the same. His reasons were because my mother doesn't think very highly of him anymore. I told him, flat out, he made me feel like shit.
All he said was "Oh."
...Rat.
Anyway, I told him we could still be friends (not really), but at this point, I don't think we'll speak to each other ever again. We'll probably bump into each other at a convention, maybe.
