A bit of a problem... (20)

1 Name: Haruhi : 2006-08-10 08:42 ID:OjH2PV5l

Er...a lot of you guys've seen me around these boards lately, and I've been trying to give advice as best I can, but right now I need a bit of help myself.x.x

See, my ex-boyfriend, who I don't love in the same way anymore, but I still care for greatly, used to practically live with me and my roommates. My roommates loved the guy; they REALLY loved the guy. I mean, both roomie1 and roomie2 had a thing for him, as well as me. He liked me, so he chose me, and then he dumped me after a week or so. In hindsight, it was really my fault since I was real flirty with him, and he had told me before that he liked roomie1. I managed to win him over; unfortunately, it was simply short-lived.

Now, moving on, to make a long story short, he dumped me to go out with roomie1. It was a pretty messy break-up involving a lot of drama, and afterwards there was quite a bit of tension. This was right before summertime. He started flirting with roomie1 a lot, and was still living with us...though in her bed. It was more than a little uncomfortable, but I dealt with it because, well, he was a good friend to have around. I got over him as a boyfriend, but he was still a really close friend to me, pretty much an older brother. Roomie2(who had also gotten over him and was crushing on someone else at this point) and roomie3(yes, I have three roommatesx.x) both felt the same way.

So summertime starts, and I'm back home with my parents for the summer. I've only gotten one e-mail from my ex, and that was months ago. Just a few weeks ago, I hear from roomie3, who tells me my ex moved out of the apartment building, taking all his belongings, everything, and he never gave any of us word of where he went. I'll admit, my first thought was, "He damn well better have watered the plants before he left."...XD On a more serious note, however, he didn't even tell roomie1, who must be rather devastated. I feel horrible for her, because my ex had a tendency to disappear before(though he would always show up again), and I would always freak out whenever he did that.

Anyway, he always used to show up again eventually if he ever vanished. For instance, one time he had vanished for a week, and we were all freaking out. Then he called roomie1 one day...and asked "Do you have any potatoes?". What a freak.XD This time, though, it's much more serious. He disappeared. He literally moved out. He had an apartment in the same building...but he doesn't live there anymore. He's vanished.

Here's my problem. I want him to come back, and my roommates do, too. I know where he works, and I also know his e-mail. I know he doesn't work on Sundays or Mondays...that's all I have. He doesn't have a cellphone or a permanent phone number where I can reach him. I honestly want him to come back on his own. I don't want to seem like a stalker or anything, either. We all really miss him, and I really do care for him as a sister cares for a brother. Then again, I'm also afraid there'll still be that tension from before the summer; still, I've got a good amount of confidence that the tension's ceased over the time we've spent away from one another.

I'm not really sure what to do at this point. Should I check on him at his workplace, and just make sure he doesn't see me? Should I try to convince him to come back? Should I just wait?

In my opinion, from the posts that you post so far. It seems you are an irresponsible desperate shameless slut. How can you let a man in and letting him fuck all of you without even knowing his phone number and address? Does shallow outlook clouding your judgement? I can tell that you a person who opinion should be taken with a grain of salt, so far most if not all your posts are full of ignorant. It appears to me that you are insecure woman by the way you post and you try insult guys who appears to be shy or less fortunate to make you feel better about yourself, it clearly reveal beneath your pretentious personality, you can't hide that. Look if you want to keep stereotyping otaku and geeks, first you should do some research, you loosely associate the term to those who you think are otaku but not, they just simply geeks and regular fan of anime. You are full of shit. I can tell that you aren't attractive so stop trying to appeal that bullshit quality to us. Your an unconfident and narcissitic ignorant bitch who is desperate for men and attention, you got me? I hate that you use the haruhi to signify yourself, please stop polluting that name, you aren't a fan, you just bangwagon jumper who hapen to jump onto anime because it is popular among alot of people that you find inferior so you could insult them to make you feel better, you are nothing but an insecure desperate bitch. Please stop calling yourself a fan, and don't disgrace the anime community by starting an anime club, you shouldn't be doing that in the first place, god forbid it. You think your perception of self -value would go higher if you laugh at those anime fans, it wouldn't make a difference because you are ignorcant of their situations. And to call yourself an anime fan, you are shameful and makes alot anime fan sad that a person like you exist. Fucking god forbid you use a name like Haruhi to identify yourself, you are simply not worthy of calling yourself that name. Go and fuckin use a different name you ugly ignorant bitch! Lastly don't ever establish an anime club, you are the type of people who should never do that.

This is why you should be anonymous instead of keeping an identity. I recomend you keep posting here but try that. Otherwise you seem like you are trying to get attention just because you are a girl.

It's a wonder why people like you can't get a girlfriend. I mean, you're so very nice, aren't you? If this is how you are on an anonymous board, I'd rather not assume what you act like in real life. Most probably you're equally immature online as offline. Also, excuse me for being confident in my appearance and taking pride in my hobbies.

>>3

Why should it matter that I'm a girl? There are other people keeping some form of an identity here. It just makes things easier in my opinion, but I do understand what you're saying. Like I said some time before, the probability that all the 4-ch users on here are male is very, very slim.

This thread is quickly going off-topic. If you don't want to answer my OP question, then don't waste your time and post.

Also, as a note, things did get physical between me and my ex, but it didn't get to the point of sex. Him and roomie1, however...I'm not sure, and I'd rather not ask since it's not my business. That doesn't really have to do with anything, anyway.

I wish I had sister that would have sex with me

well. in my opinion, you should just wait. he may have been a good friend to you in the past but it sounds like he has other priorities. this isn't how I would treat someone I cared for.

One, going to his workplace would most definitely ***be*** stalking. Two, he's roomie1's boyfriend, it's her problem to deal with now. You don't even know why he left or apparently why he dissappeared all those other times. Someone who pops in and out like that sounds like a flake who would be more trouble than they're worth no matter how much you like them. Why do all of you like him anyhow? Reading it again the situation is like a harem anime.

>Why should it matter that I'm a girl? There are other people keeping some form of an identity here.

It doesn't matter that you're a girl. What matters is that by using a name when you started the thread your post will naturally be coloured by every previous comment or advice you have given under that name. This is exactly what anonymous posting is good for avoiding, so you can get opinions on your ideas or problems without people attacking a built-up persona. Just because other people keep some form of identity doesn't mean it's beneficial or desirable for all occasions.

Okay. Thank you for your advice. The situation WAS rather surreal, actually. We were good friends with him for quite a while, and then he started living with us; in other words, he moved into the apartment building with his own private apartment, but slept on our couch in the living room most nights, ate with us, and did our dishes. (We have a notorious dish problem.) I think at some point it finally clicked that this was a male living amongst females, and each of us just grew more and more fond of him. On hindsight, however, he was a bit of a flake.

Thank you for explaining the identity thing in a mature manner, however. I'll keep that in mind next time.:)

>>6

True. It has been a while since any of us heard from him; even roomie1 hasn't heard a peep. Like I said, you guys are right; on hindsight, he is a bit of a flake.

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep it in mind, and hopefully the situation resolves itself.:)

I told you guys about this bitch, I told you.

But nobody listens to me. Anyways some REAL advice for you:

You actually ARE a bitch. Seriously, and most guys hate bitches. Being a LITTLE bitchy is sexy and awesome if pulled off correctly, you do not know how to do that. My suggestion stop trying to pollute our existence with your trite ramblings and ravings and trying to be a real life anime character. That's just sad.

There is sad and depraved. Me, I'm depraved, that's why I'm awesome. You? You're sad. Sad because you exemplify everything I dislike about people. It is because of people like you that I have taken to fucking a plastic real doll. First because I hate people and second because I wouldn't want to chance being responsible for bringing another person into this world. I mean, you come here this all this bullshit, posing as a female, then when everyone calls you on your bullshit you go "Oh well that's why you'll never have a girlfriend!" How the FUCK do you know? You can always RENT girlfriends you know. It is very possible that some of these sad motherfuckers here could very easily cough up some dough and rent a girlfriend. Besides if they never ran across a "girl" like you I'd count them as being lucky. Everyone seems to think that a Vagina is sooo important and it isn't. Hell, for the most part that's all most women have going for them.

I could go on, but I won't. I'll just say that this is a bullshit situation and that you are a bullshit asshole and that nobody cares if you are a girl, because in the event that you ARE a girl you are probably a fat ass with four eyes and flaky hair who smells of B.O. and cheap perfume.

Most guys don't want another girl like them because they are probably the same way just not female. They want to move UP in the world, PROGRESS. And they usually succeed.

You however shall fail miserably.

i think you have to remember one thing about human beings. everyone is naturally programmed to act in their best self-interests. the person you should be with is is someone who is mature enough to overcome their impulses. well, if you ever want to talk further, let me know. it would be interesting to see the resolution of your situation

Well, that's quite a situation. He does seem a bit flakey, but maybe he had his reasons for just up and leaving like that, though it doesn't come off well. Maybe he felt that was the best way to go? It seems really immature though to not even leave a note or something, sounds to me like he didn't have the guts to say goodbye. And maybe he'll return, but it's unlikely. I'd advise you all move on as soon as you can.

I have no experience whatsoever though. Your mileage may vary.
