Getting past the "ew vagina" factor? (14)

1 Name: Secret Admirer : 2006-08-13 04:17 ID:WHPInc8D

I am a pre-op female to male transgender. I am bi and a seme type of peron, which doesn't work too well in male relation ships, unless I find the ocational guy who doesn't want to admit to himself he's gay (which, obviously, isn't going to work out in the long run).

So how do I get gay guys to get past the "ew vagina" factor and actualy get to know me? Other than not telling them about the vagina till later, I wouldn't do that.

Yeah sorry, I really don't know, but good luck to you. From what I have heard gays can even be discriminatory to bi people, so I am sure it is really hard for transgender as well... good luck

Fuck that. Tell them later. If they are really interested in you, they'll look beyond the fact that you still have a vag. Sadly I know this might not work because most gay men I know are too busy being interesting in suckin' dick.

so...
1) you are a female
2) you like men
3) but you don't want to have a relation with men who prefer women over men, no
4) So you try to hook up with a male homosexual
5) but your problem is that you can't get homosexual men to like you

solution: u r a fraud. Or very seriously mental. Get out of here and/or get a psychiatrist or something. Preferably go back to your mommy and talk about it.

reasoning: way too little introduction. indicates boredom rather than a serious problem you want to get solved. Also, you don't get an urge for homosexual boyfriends and a genderchange that easily. You'd have contacts who are much more capable/nutty to help you than us here.

conclusion: sage.

Ever seen the Crying game? Don't tell them til later and then they may not care.

Other than that, I cannot really help you. Haven't had enough experience in the whole transgender, homosexual areas.

Have you thought of raping random homosexuals in the park at night?

I always figured the best bet was to find a bisexual person, because there's more of an off-chance that the person won't be bothered by the parts, because they already like you for you, and the gender parts aren't as important.

Also, relationships aren't completely about sex right? If the first thing they want to do is jump in bed, hon, you need to find better men! If you look for one that is looking for a committed relationship, you might be in luck. Anyone who's been around the block knows that sex is only part of a good relationship. It's about the person, compromise and so on, though I might be wrong.

I think there was some book written by a very angry lesbian that accused transgendered people of being gay people that can't accept their homosexuality, and as perverts trying to subvert homosexual culture and enforce patriarchy (insert other extreme feminist vocab here).

Also some voice the opinion that transwomen are ugly backward antifeminist stereotypes of women (when it's only fetishistic crossdressers (can be distinguished on internet forums by the proliferation of "panties" threads)) or ugly misrepresentations of gay men (yet drag queens do more damage in that fashion than transgendered folk do).

The hostility is mostly centered in areas where lesbians and gays are very accepted to begin with, and form self-centered little enclaves because they can afford to burn bridges.

>pre-op female to male transgender

I don't get it... so you had a vagOO and changed it to a little pOnOs?

Personally, I'm male and I only like females. (Thus far... but that's for another thread.)

If I was gay, I would only like males.

If I was bi... well, that's probably your best chance then, as I would be okay with either gender.

I would never reccomend telling them later, though. That's the kind of thing that should be known from the start.

Also, >>5 made me laugh. If this is actually real, how did you come about wanting to change to a male from a female? I mean, it would make sense if you said you only/mainly like women, but it seems like you like guys more. And why does it have to be gay guys? I bet there are lots of guys out there who wouldn't mind being dominated by a woman... though, I'm not sure about a woman->man. Personally, I would be less creeped out than if it was a man->woman, but still pretty creeped out, in another way.

And I shouldn't have saged that.

>pre-op female to male transgender

Pre-op? So, does that mean you're planning to eventually get an operation, or what? Sounds pretty unnecessary/silly to me. You're either a transgender or not.

As for advice: Homosexual guys are made of the same stuff as heterosexual guys. I agree with >>11 that >>1 should just find a willing straight guy, and avoid the expense and stress of a transgender operation (which I, personally, doubt she ever SERIOUSLY considered).
