So I'm in the dumps. I've been completely rejected by a woman. Yeah yeah, this happens all the time, try again, yadda yadda. Here's the twist: I don't even remember how in any of the conversations we had that I even approached her. Plus she's the "company slut"--the only one she hasn't put out for in the 2nd floor break room is the potted fern (and even then...). And then to top it off, she tried to start a rumor that I'm gay. I squashed that before it got past one hour, but I wasn't able to pin it on her, and the person she used to try and start the rumor didn't give her up (though he did run right to her after he got chewed out).
I'm in my late 20's; I'm too old for this shit. I'm not about to leave my job because of this bitch because it's a job I want to promote in and retire from. My supervisors are fully aware of everything that has occured but are unable to do anything about it (she never made an official statement that would be considered sexual harassment--the best they could offer is to change my shift to an earlier shift so I only have to interact with her for 90 minutes of the day).
But even though I'm glad that I never did do anything with this girl (duh), it's still a kick to my pride's nuts that I'm the only one she rejected out of the entire company--especially when I didn't even approach her for anything!
tl;dr version: I'm feeling emo cause bitch was a bitch and tried to start shit when all I can remember saying was Good Afternoon in her general direction, and I want advice on how to feel less emo.

Ha ha ha don't worry about it. If that girl is a "company slut" then you don't even need to care about her. If it just annoys you so much then avoid her as much as possible and just focus on your work. And just tell people that the rumors are wrong and things like that.
Because you are the one who should be better than her right so just focus on your own work... And about the rejection thing... Just forget about that... I mean who cares right. If you don't care so much then just move on. You'll find a better women later on.
Well I was rejected once or twice too but it was like with my friends so it was kind of ok... I mean rejections aren't all bad. It helps you to become stronger sometimes (Although my other friends are like you got rejected?! When I tell them... Because I don't look like a type to get rejected... But it doesn't really matter).
Wow, that is a bit of an ego basher. Does anyone else know about it? If she's a big mouth, and rattled it off to everyone in the company, don't worry about it. Those type of people always get what they deserve sooner or later. Don't try revenge or anything. That will just put you in a worse light than her if the company directors find out. Play it cool, and act as if you're unperturbed by anything. If she tries to start shit then it will make her look like a joke. Just thank your lucky stars that some higher order intercepted and prevented you from contracting gonorrhea or AIDS. Meanwhile, eat less green M&M's and keep your lust in check.

You're right, this is kid shit and she needs to get the hell out of the office and on the streets where she belongs (her future occupation). Sounds like a really dumb slut, keep playing the high ground and wait for her to screw up again, her supervisors don't have any evidence but they are aware that she is wasting valuable company time with this crap and not working, therefore they'll probably be keeping their eyes open for any future screw ups. As for the rejection thing, shes just a dumb bitch, forget her.
