There's a guy I have liked for a looong time, and I finally got the nerve to ask him out maybe a month ago. He said, at what first glance looks legit, an excuse like "Let me clear things with my ex, because right now it's pretty crazy."

FYI: His Ex is batshit insane.

Anywho, since when he told me that I have backed off, but I still really like him. I can't tell if he has any interest in me at all, considering he barely talks to me (even though we're extremely close). All I am asking is: When is it ok to move on? Should I be expecting him to come out of nowhere after a month hiatus and ask me out, or should I just move on to other fish in the sea?
