if you think you can be around him and be sure that nothing will happen (either if you initiate it or him) then you can stick around, but id say try and make it clear that how you are acting is "friendly" (as in, how you are with friends) rather than "flirty".

if you dont think you can disperse your feelings or you wouldnt be able to refuse if he propositioned you, then you shouldnt see him. or rather, you should avoid the situations where you're being flirty or whatever.
