I just want to know what do you single/married/engaged/in a relationship people think about this. Don't you ever feel like the word doesn't mean as much as you would like it to ? And... What do you think could be use instead of "I love you" ?

It's sad to see women going to a shoes shop and saying: "OH GOD I LOVE THOSE SHOES !!!", it's like they never really felt love before, it makes me feel really uneasy. Because then, when i really want to say to someone that I love him, I feel like I'm lying.

I think "I love you" can still be very strong and mean the right thing. You don't need to invent another word to convey the message, the way in which you say this one is important.

It certainly has been overused and the meaning has been eroded, but still in the right circumstances it still can touch peoples "hearts".

I reckon making people feel you love them is more important: say without speaking.
