As you said yourself, you're overthinking this. Relax, relax, relax. She might really be getting close to you just to be kind to you, but I can't say whether or not she is without having actually seen her myself. Either way, just go for her without worrying about what she thinks of you right now. Get closer to her, talk about more personal things. Touch her more often, even if it's just being playful. Draw her closer to you and then when the time is ripe, ask her out!
