If you bleed while brushing teeth, it's mostly because you haven't brushed in awhile and your gum is sensitive.

You're using an entirely too hard tooth brush, and apparently have a retard for a dentist. I advice you to get a toothbrush with softer bristles, and get a proper dentist who actually cares about the health of your mouth more than how much money he/she can make you pay.
If your gums are bleeding, you're doing it seriously wrong. You aren't supposed to bleed, even if you haven't brushed your teeth for two weeks!
