You're going about this the wrong way. In fact, it may already be too late.

1) DO NOT use that L word. You drop that on her, she'll put you on the blacklist forever.

2) You love this girl but you don't see her often? You've never been on a date with her? You're in LUST. Not love. Being in lust is not just thinking about sex with her. Love takes more than a dozen conversations on AIM.

3) If she's dodging your requests for a phone number, it may be over already. Back off, wait a bit, and try to start anew. Be funny. Be confident. When you get the number, wait a week and try for a date. If she says no, then you're out of luck, man.
