Ok, my girlfriend of a few months discovered some pictures on my computer and now she's been ignoring me since. It isn't really sexual in nature, I just find women really attractive when they're like that. But I've really wierded her out. How can I explain something to her that I don't fully understand myself?
Explain it like you would. Be honest about how you feel. Tell her that you have that fetish and you can't help it.
If you want some kind of justification, I suppose you could say some poetic bullshit about the beauty of the MadonnaEarthMother in a twilight state of base biological unity with her child-satellite of dependence.
Or blame it on your roommate.
But hey, she's a women. Women get freaked out even by simple tasteful nudes.

It's not weird or creepy,... The best approach to these things is not to be yourself ashamed of your tastes, and treat them as normal. If yourself find them weird, no wonder other people will be spooked.
Do you think people like Michel Angelo, or Leonardo da Vinci were not obsessed with pictures. It even got to the point of dissecting corpses. Without such interests they would not have been able to paint what they did.
I myself like the pregnant female body. I don't find that disturbing at all, and since my wife is pregnant at the moment, it's perfect for me. I explained her my tastes, and it does not bother her at all, on the contrary, it lessens her stress of seeing her body shape so altered.

Having a fetish about it to the point where you keep pictures specifically of pregnant women, naked or not, IS disturbing and does give wierd vibes. It's the case for many fetishes, you know. And "weird and creepy" is something defined by people not affected by the fetish. Some will be judged more creepy than others. This one, as it concerns procreation, gets a strange twist when it becomes a sexual obsession.

Pictures are sort of iffy. I myself would have second thoughts about a guy if he kept pictures of pregnant women specifically. However, you find pregnant women aesthetically pleasing, and that's how it is. Don't try and lie your way out of explaining to your girlfriend how it is... Everyone has their quirks =)
