Either that, or the girls you talk to treat you like one of their girlfriends, and that sucks. When a girl really likes you, she'll try to talk to you like you're a boy.

But it could be your own doing. How many girls are you meeting out there? Are you even trying to put yourself out there? They don't usually fall into your lap. Do you go to any school clubs or hang out in certain places? Look for girls there. If it's hard to make a cold start with a girl, friends of friends are also a great place to start. You already have a connection, and you immediately start as an acquaintance.
