Boyfriend wants to spend the night with his ex (8)

I'm having relationship troubles. My boyfriend wants to spend time with another guy he fooled around with before. They have been friends for 10 years or something but haven't been hanging out recently. He said he wanted to spend the night. This is pretty unacceptable. How can I explain this without making it seem like I don't trust him?

He says that if I trusted him it wouldn't be a problem. I tried to explain that this isn't something anyone in any relationship should do. I think he likes me too much to be cheating on me. What do I do?

Just for clarification, are you a guy or girl? Because I dunno if you can consider it cheating if it crosses gender boundaries.

No. Worry about it. 'If you trust me' is almost as bad as saying

'if you love me' while rapping someone.

He is controlling you.

I'd worry about it, ask him to bring you along, that is "if he loves you".

He can't be trusted. It isn't going to be just a platonic spending the night, it's going to be you getting cheated on. Ask him to not spend the night, 'if he loves you'.
