If I gave less than half a shit, I suppose I wouldn't spend time writing a response in the first place. You seem to like to jump to conclusions and over-analyze everything. Exactly how outgoing were you during these dates, and how did you feel. What kind of vibes do you suspect you were giving off. Maybe he's just very nerveous and uncomfortable, maybe it has something to do with you. People can seem very different depending on situation. And people who are used to being nerveous are often masters at hiding it, but instead they often come off as being indifferent, cold, dry, insensitive, etc.

I'm sure this guy wouldn't be so eager to spend time with you just to seem like a jerk. Maybe he just needs some extra help with opening up. But seriously if you honestly don't care for him don't indulge him either, he will just get dissappointed and you'll feel like an ass.
