Negative.

Hearing too many whiny stories about long-distance online relationships already.

Unless you're moving to Florida in the near future, or she's going to Ohio in the near future(or some other movement happens that brings you significantly closer) I really recommend against it.

you're setting yourself up for fail. i'd advise against it. but if you're desperate enough, let us know how it goes.

my advice is for you to follow your heart, if you think she's the one. think of the outcome of you asking her out, do you know if she feels the same? and if you two do go out, then whats next? will you exchange pictures? make plans to eventually meet?

be sure you know what your getting yourself into.

i've had an online relationship once, but i'm not sure how it turned out yet.

best of luck to you

I've been in that situation. Don't bother. She probably has a life and a boyfriend/someone IRL she's interested in. You'll just make a fool of yourself.

If you are certain that you have a bond with her, that you both are in love with each other it might be worth a shot, but here are some questions.

-Is your life in order (stable)?
-Is her life in order?
-Are you in love with each other?
-Do you know her, her secrets, and do you know you can trust her?

if you say no to any of these, then no. In order for it to work you have to have your life together because long distance relationships make life 10x harder. If your life isn't together then it'll only make it worse. If you have a well established bond, and trust her completely you might want to try a trip out there for a few days to see how real life feels and visit once in a while to develop a real relationship. If you still feel confident in the relationship after a year or so then relocation for either you or her might be a good idea. True love can be found over the internet, but dumping your life overboard for some chick you don't know would be stupid. Remember to think first.

OP, how are you going to ask her out? I'm confused here. You guys are seperated by thousands of miles.

OP, I would say a big "NO" to that.
You are wasting your time. Believe me. I've done this a lot myself and ended up in failure.

You want a girlfriend? go and meet her in real life.
