Anxious (10)

There's this girl I like, and she likes me back. We are both aware of this. When I told her about my feelings she still had a boyfriend, I did it because I knew that at that point the didn't talk much and the relationship was about to end. Soon after I told her she broke up with him. She wanted to some time to get over him, they had dated for almost a year, so I agreed and I respect her wishes. I wouldn't want to rush things. Since then we just hung out, nothing physical. A couple of weeks ago we were just chilling in her room and we cuddled together, we made out but then I had to leave. It happened again a few days later and then she left on a trip. She's back from her trip (about a week) and I haven't really talked to her since then. She's been busy with school starting this week and working before school starts. But I am afraid that she has been avoiding me. She doesn't reply to my messages and maybe she changed her mind about us. I want to know since I don't want to wait a month until she decides to tell me but I don't want to confront her and come off overly aggressive, we're not even officially together anyway. I hate this feeling of anxiousness and I feel very pessimistic. I want to know what's going on, maybe it's actually nothing and her phone died or she's really tired after work. But I don't know. I just want to get this over with. I am freaking out and it may be over nothing.

This is your answer. If you know she is busy, it's natural for her not to get back to you. If you hound her with messages, then you're going to give off the wrong impression. In my opinion, you should wait a month even if you don't want to. If after a month and she doesn't get back to you, then you should try a more aggressive approach.

You said it yourself, that she was busy right? Seems to me you're just assuming the worst. I'd wouldn't worry about it, because if she is avoiding you there isn't much you can do about it anyway. Thats my two cents.

Nevermind. I felt there was something wrong, that's why I worried. She said she didn't answer my calls or messages because she felt bad if she told me she "Kinda has a boyfriend". Even though I gave her the time she needed and thought I was "kinda her boyfriend". She hasn't answered my call to talk about it. It really hurts she lead me on like that.

Thanks guys.

kill dat bitch.

No, seriously, I know men do this sort of thing too, but women do it more often, and they seem to do it a HELL of a lot. Men should go on a crusade of raping and horrifically beating this out of every woman that does this to them.

But in all seriousness... Why the hell does this happen so much? Why can't women control their emotions, just like men prevent themselves from groping women at the pool, or pedophiles prevent themselves from having their way with easy to manipulate children?

The guy was a jerk. By the time she broke up with him he hadn't talked to her in over a month. Things had been going bad for the past few months. I just wanted t save her from that decaying relationship and hoping to have something serious with her.

I don't think it's right to say that the guy was necessarily the jerk. If the girl had been more honest in this situation, there would be no unnecessary emotional rollercoaster for OP. But no, she decided to "let things work out on their own" which means avoiding the issue altogether because they don't want to do something mean. The truth is that she's already done something worse than not being honest by getting a boyfriend after leading OP on.

Seriously, girls are the worst.

One time I was dating a guy for three weeks. He dumped me because he didn't think it would work. Two months later I found out that in the same period we were dating he saw two other girls and slept with one or both of them. Don't tell me only girls change their minds and pull shit, lots of people do it.

She probably made out with post #1, and then went on a trip and found someone she liked better. She avoided post #1 because she probably felt guilty, but she didn't sleep with him, she wasn't dating him, and people are allowed to change their minds.

Sure, some girls lead guys on, some guys lead girls on. Don't be blaming half the species for your misfortune in love.
