ah, I think you have a lot going for you in this scenario. Is she with this guy because she feels she can't find anything better? If you like her and want to be with her just pretend she doesn't have a boyfriend. Only you'll have to be a little more discreet. Talk to her, try to spend time with her, flatter her and so forth. Take your time and make her feel that she's better off with you. She'll either push you away or if all works out for the best she'll ditch the loser in LA.
