i have a boyfriend and the problem of having no idea what to get him for christmas this year!
i would like to get him something kind of usefull like a GPS (but he already has one) and im on a budget, so i dont have heaps on money to spend. i would tlike it to be something he can use that wont get thrown away if we break up for example..
any ideas?
guys what would you like from your girlfriend?

well firstly, why think of the "what if" of breaking up when thinking of a christmas gift. Buying a christmas gift for someone is about the moment now about what it'll be in a year more or less.
u want it to be useful, well it should also be meaningful of course.
Remember, it depends what he likes of course...

from my girlfriend, if you're reading this...i want to see you on christmas is the gift i want from you; i tend to only see family on christmas
if materialistic: computer goodies =]

uhhh..... you're thinking of breaking up already? then if you're going to dump him... then don't waste money on x-mas present now. ha ha jsk

so you're saying, even if he dumps you (or vice versa).. you want to something that he owns that will forever remind him of you... right?

possessive.

lol computer things like.. an external hard drive.. usb keys... lolz

a watch is a nice gift, but they tend to like really nice ones, and you may not be able to get a good one with your budget.

im not thinking of breaking up with him!
sorry i shouvnt have said that, though i am a thinker, i tend to think about things to much.
but by what i sais i meant i would like him to keep it forever, not something thats disposable anytime soon. sorry about that.
any ideas please?

Maybe you could get him a mug and some coffee beans/tea leaves/hot chocolate mix (esp. if it gets cold where you live).

if you are in a REALLY TIGHT BUDGET, you could alway give him a treat by wearing sexy underwear for the Christmas Night. that would make him forget about presents.
make yourself as the present.

Obligatory whine, man I hope I have a girlfriend by Xmas otherwise it's going to be even more lonely than it already is with my parents separated.

I feel you there, man, although I think tonight's date might "seal the deal" with this one girl...

Although back to the subject: you know what's the most awkward thing ever? Having your girlfriend leave you for another guy a week before Christmas, and you've both already bought your Christmas presents for each other... aaaaand you have to give them to each other 2 days before Christmas.
