At a month-long summer camp I hooked up with a guy that I met there. We were friends first, flirting at some points I guess. Then idiotically we on decided to tell each other our feelings till the night before the last day. It was a long distance relationship (I'd have to take a plane to see him). It worked out great for one month with phone calls and chatting I even got to see him once. The trouble/stress/being so far away got to him and he broke it off via phone. We decided to be friends. During the time he got a girlfriend and it didn't work out. I remained single to focus on my studies. Now it's rare we talk to eachother. At the summer camp that we met at we both had a group of friends and we promised eachother we'd go to China this summer. I'm not sure he's going anymore. I think I still might have feelings for him...What do I do?

Move on. If you don't have any perspective of living close to him in the near future, then I think it's just not worth it. You barely know each other, and you already have to endure the huge stress of a long distance relationship.

Furthermore, you have actually already broken up, so that should not even be a question anymore. You said you decided to focus on studies, then you need to assume that, and not think that there is some kind of safety net in an hypothetical long distance relationship. When you are really ready for a relationship, then go for it, but someone actually accessible to you.

Of course, nothing prevents you from traveling with him and other people as FRIENDS. However, I'm not sure you are ready to stomach that, so I think you should think again about it...

Thanks for the advice. You kind of brought me down earth. Now, I think I'm just going to go through with the trip to China even if he decides to go or not.
