How to know if a girl has a bf? (7)

So, I just got into college, and I'm sort of hunting for women, but I don't want to waste my time in taken babes. Is there any way to ask them politely if they have a boyfriend? Asking them directly seems awfully rude from me (feels like I am asking just to fuck them), so I would like to know if there is a way to make girls tell you if they have a bf.

try it through normal conversation... like: ,,What were you doing in summer?" ,,I was in Italy on holiday." ,,Yeah, what was it like?" ,,I was just with my boyfriend, so awesome." ... some of them will say it themeselves... or you can ask - ,,Were you with your family?" ... then she can tell you that ,,No, with boyfriend." or plainly ,,Yes." but you can ask in other topic... also, I don't see a problem using word boyfriend in your conversation, only asking directly feels rude...

other way is through friend that knows the girl you want... he/she can mention it in conversation about the girl or you can ask indirectly...

Agreed. Also, if you happen to have a playfull conversation with someone you can plainly (but conversationally) ask. If they ask 'why' you can always say 'so seem like the type that has a boyfriend' :D and laugh it of.

As a girl, I've been asked by others girls often enough whether I have a boyfriend. Sometimes by guys too, but it never felt rude. As long as your conversational enough about it, its just another topic about as safe as the weather.

You are talking to them about something totally non-romantic and they think you like them so they keep making non-sequitor mentions of their boyfriend hoping you'll leave them alone. ;_;

It's absolutely reasonable, and not at all creepy, to ask straight out if someone is seeing someone. It doesn't even necessarily imply that you want to go out with them--it's a pretty basic facet of social life, and something you'd want to know about your friends as much as potential girlfriends.

>>5 speaks the truth. Dating isn't taboo or anything, you're asking them a simple question that I'm sure any girl would feel comfortable answering.
