Falling for the "Ugly" Chick? (11)

Whaddup yall.

First, let me get something out of the way, at the risk of sounding like I'm tootin' my own horn. I've banged a few really hot chicks in my time; I've made plenty of my bro's jealous with the fish that I catch. Yeah, I can be a bit of a manwhore, but when I get some, I fuckin' GET SOME.

But then, there's something that happened this weekend at a convention. I met a very shy, awkward otaku girl, who has very pretty brown hair and a nice body: slim, perky breasts, nice firm little booty, lovely hands and legs... Mmmm, damn.

Buuuut then, there's her face. She seems so sweet, but I'm going to be blunt: She has one helluva acne problem, has coke-bottle glasses, and it's a good thing she has braces because DAMN her teeth are like fuckin' Nosferatu!

My friends shuddered when they first saw her, and were like "Dude, if you hook up with that I will lose so much respect for you." Another friend said "Wow dude she has a bangin' bod but her face looks like a pizza that's been hit by a shovel." Her friends talked of her being "sadly a good bit awkward, and the poor girl was never blessed with good looks..." However, something about her brings about a feeling in me that is quite... bizarre. I don't know what it is, because I usually am attracted to (relatively) "sexy" women/pretty boys and those are the ones I get. Not this time.

Let me put it this way: have you ever felt attraction to a person because you find their awkwardness and shyness charming, and just feel... "Wow, they look like they need some lovin'"? Have you ever felt that a person could really use some help finding the outside world, so you're willing to TAKE ONE FOR THE TEAM?

I kinda feel bad because it feels superficial, so gimme some advice before I go too far. Cuz there's somethin' about this little geek... "that makes me sweat" (to quote INXS).

Do it, she's probably a great person. And indeed, everybody needs some lovin'. If you think you're up to it, don't restrain yourself because of what other people think.

Relax, cosmology is a gift from the gods. Just walk her into the cosmetic department of your nearest shopping mall, and the ladies there will flock over her.

A non-manwhore might think in the long term. Acne will go away eventually(and might go right away if she quits soda), her teeth will eventually get straightened by the braces, and she can always get a better pair of glasses.

Is there anything wrong with her facial features themselves? Large nose, weak chin, spaced/beady eyes?

All the problems you quote are minor, and can be solved with some fixing. I would not hesitate to continue with her, dispite what the others say.

Actually, I had the same experience. Later on the girl became more and more beautiful, but by that time she was MINE ^_^

Well, she has hella shnozz going on there... but eh, I've seen worse. My sister (who met her) was like @____@ upon seeing, however...

You know what? You're right, most of these things are fixable.

She's very introverted and socially awkward, but I have a thing of really enjoying making friends with those kinds of people and bringing them out of their shells (usually successfully). Hopefully getting her out into the real world will show who she really is; I just got to remember to go slow and not reveal my more "sordid" side to quickly >_>;;
