I have really big jealousy problems when it comes to my girlfriend. I get paranoid easily too ._. The slightest things make me jealous and sad. Like if she's just not smiling talking to me on msn (it's long distance.. xD) and someone else comes and talks and she just starts having a ton of fun.. Or when she tells other people things but refuses to tell me.

How do you deal with this stupid feeling? ._.

Jealousy is a sign of insecurity. You are insecure that she will leave you. If you don't chill out she will. So just relax and what happens, happens.

Insecurity isn't necessarily the fault of the person suffering it. We don't know but maybe his insecurities are founded in reality, in which case they'd be a natural response to an unstable situation, pretty much the definition of long distance.

Long distance doesn't work in general, some extraordinary people manage to make it work when being able to see each other as often as possible, but for most it won't end well.

OP, I feel the same.

I had planned to catch a certain movie with my gf but a couple of her friends beat me to it and it's making me feel really crappy.

And if I suggest another show now it'll just seem like I'm being too clingy or possessive. FML.
