3 years ago, I met someone online who help me out on something. We both shared the same likes and pov on things and we got along really well, we exchange infos and other stuffs, laughed at each others foolishness, and shared a really good deal of fun memories "online" However, something happened, he got mad with me and I in turn too, we began exchanging flame messages in boards and hated each other to death, but all of the sudden I believe that I fell in love with him. I really do, I keep on rejecting others and I keep on thinking about him all the time, it has got to be him.
What do you think? It's easy to say to forget him, but I tried it, but I end up comparing them to him... I'm really at lost on what to do...
Btw, she has a girlfriend atm.

yesnomaybeso. depends on your personal definition of love. you can certainly get the same feelings as with any offline relationship. obviously youre missing the physical connection, and once that changes its not an online relationship anymore. falling in love with someone online honestly isnt that different from falling in love with a fictional character.

again, if youve crossed the line from online only into actually meeting irl and whatnot, its not an online relationship anymore.

That makes sense, as if I am just fantasizing on a fictional hero. Thanks.

Yes. I'm in love with someone online right now. No, wait, maybe that's infatuation. Whatever; it feels good and I like her.

good for you, but for me, it's kinda hopeless since he has a gf, and i think he's really into her :-(

Well you should continue talking to him and if he likes you he'll start paying you more attention than her. If you can get him to admit this then he will happily plan to keepin' it that way.

He seldom goes online now. And btw, his 1st gf is 2D, and he met his 2nd and current gf thru the net. :-(

In that case maybe you should try to forget about him. :-\

Yeah, merry Christmas to you as well! Relationships aren't all that matter in life. Spend some time with your friends and family. Cherish the love which stands right before you, not the love you blindly seek elsewhere.
